  • Large Tray

  • Farm Animals

  • Various Cereals (Shredded Wheat and Wheetabix work great!)

  • Angel Delight

  • Broccoli

  • Leafy Greens

Mix the angel delight up and spread that in the tray as mud. crush come of the shredded wheat up to make hay and stack others to make hay bails. Use the Weetabix as fencing, and crush some of this up as well. Broccoli makes great trees (of course) and you can use other leafy greens to make fields.

Why It's Good

Ok, so I grant you this one is a huge ask. It is actually messy but it's unbelievable fun, so if you want to make it big in the eyes of a two year old, this is what you need. It is best done outside with a shower afterwards. But it's not as messy to clean up as you might think, for one, most of it gets eaten! But also it all just crapes into the compost or bin and then the tray and animals get washed. So really not that bad! It's good for developing imaginative play and for combating sensory issues like messy hands and over cleaning in children.
